Thermoelectric Coolers (TECs) |
|
Thermoelectric cooling modules are operated based on the principle of Peltier effect. Due to low weight, small size and relatively high cooling power, they are particularly suitable for cooing tests where space is limited. Besides, the cooling module is a solid state heat pump. Therefore, it is free of maintenance, noiseless, function in any position, insensitiveness to shock and vibration. In addition, the direction of heat flow can be reversed by changing the polarity of the power sources and the cooling power can be easily adjusted by altering the current strength. Thermoelectric cooling modules can be widely used in medical instruments, laboratory apparatus, industry consumer products and so on. |
